CPV online is a search tool for the Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV).CPV online is intended as a help to contracting authorities and companies in searching the CPV code corresponding the goods, services and works they buy or offer.

CPV online is a product of the Romanian Institute of Training and Cardington Procurement on a platform developed by Infoideea.

How can I search a code in CPV 2008?

In order to find a code in CPV 2008, please enter a keyword in the search box. Please enter at least 2 characters in the search box. If the search returns to many results, try introducing more characters from the keyword. If your search returns no results, or the results are irrelevant, try introducing fewer characters, to cover variations of the keyword. For example, the keyword “metallic” returns 5 results, while “metal” returns 60 results (including “metals” etc.). Also, try searching synonyms of the keyword. For example, the keyword “training” returns 48 results, while “education” returns other 22.

How can I find what CPV 2008 code corresponds to a CPV 2003 code?

Entering the CPV 2003 code in the search box, you will obtain a table with the correspondence to the CPV 2008 code.

How can I change the language of the search?

You can change the language of the search by choosing the language from the drop down menu underneath the search box. For the beta version of the CPV online, the web interface is available only in English and Romanian, but the CPV search can be done in all official languages of the European Union.
